Scott G. Erpelding, M.D.

Scott G. Erpelding, MD is a board-certified urologist who treats all aspects of adult urology. He attended medical school at the University of North Dakota and completed his urology residency at The University of Kentucky. He has been practicing in Idaho since 2019. He practiced at St. Luke’s in Boise for 4 years prior to moving to Idaho Falls in 2023. His goal has always been to provide a full spectrum of quality and compassionate urologic care to his community.

He treats both men and women for common urologic issues including BPH, kidney stones, hematuria, and urologic malignancies. During his tenure in Boise, he had a high volume robotics practice which allowed him to gain experience using the da Vinci® robotic surgery platform for malignancy, BPH, and reconstructive urology. He is one of only a few urologists in the state that offer this scope of robotic surgery including robotic radical nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, robotic assisted simple prostatectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplants, and buccal augmented ureteral repairs. Additionally, he offers both percutaneous and ureteroscopic approaches for the management of complex kidney stones.

When he is not taking care of his patients you’ll find him spending time with his family. His hobbies include fly-fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and most recently photography.
