Richard A. Blatter, D.O.

Richard A. Blatter, D.O., a board-certified urologist, was born and raised in Idaho Falls. He completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Go Spartans! 

Dr. Blatter is an advocate of innovative technology in the medical field. He has helped launch multiple new technologies in southeastern Idaho for treatment of enlarged prostates, female incontinence and clinical trials in prostate cancer treatment. Remaining at the forefront of medical innovation to provide the safest and most effective treatments for his patients is a top priority for him. 

Dr. Blatter is passionate about the care he provides. As a partner in your health, Dr. Blatter will excel when sensitive issues arise. He specializes in kidney stone surgery, erectile dysfunction and treatment of enlarged prostates while actively engaged in the breath of general urology needed in our growing area.

Outside the office and operating room, Dr. Blatter can be found enjoying the outdoors and especially the local reservoirs on his waterski.
